Win tickets to the Olympics!

I'm getting pretty excited about the Olympic Games coming to London in just over a hundred days time.  I can't wait to see people from all over the world coming together here in London, and watching some excellent sporting action including the road, track and BMX cycling of course.

So when the nice people at Thomas Cook got in touch asking what I - as a London blogger - would recommend visitors to the Olympics do during their time in my home city I was more than happy to point out some of my favourite cycle routes around the markets and canals of the East End.  There are lots of family friendly bike routes here and with a bit of planning you will be able to cycle your family via the canals to Victoria Park where you'll be able to securely store your bike and enter the Olympic Park itself.  It certainly beats waiting for the train!

Me, about to be run over by Sir Chris.

In return for my cinematic endeavours Thomas Cook have given me a very special prize for one lucky reader.  I know many people were disappointed they didn't secure Olympic tickets during the public ballots, but Thomas Cook Games Breaks are still available to purchase ranging from basic accommodation and tickets through to 5-star luxury packages if you really want to spoil yourself.  And thanks to them everyone has the chance to win as here at ibikelondon we're giving away an Olympic Games ticket and accommodation package; two tickets to the Volleyball, two London travel cards and one night's accommodation at a London Hotel on August 3rd.

All you have to do to be in with a chance to win is to "Like" this post over on the ibikelondon Facebook page and tell us what you are most looking forward to at the Olympics. Do it between now and this Friday at 5PM BST when we will choose a winner's name from the hat.

And if you're coming to London for the Olympics and want the inside track on the best things to do whilst in town, check out these other top video tips from fellow bloggers Andreas from London Cyclist, Julie from A Lady in London, Adanma from London Perspective and many more

Good luck!

Hi, I hate to be a party pooper but follow this link http://lcc.org.uk/articles/londons-best-off-road-cycling-and-walking-route-to-olympic-park-will-be-closed-all-summer
The LCC have been informed that the best route for accessing the games by foot or cycle will be closed all summer! I'm really fed up beacause this is my commute to work too.
