It's been a long dark winter, and we're all longing for spring, but the darkness is with us for one more month yet.
The clocks go forward on March 31st - not soon enough in my books - but until then, dear fellow London cyclists, please PLEASE ensure your lights are firmly strapped on and your batteries topped up.
Never mind whether you should wear a hi-vis jacket or not, or whether a helmet is a cyclist's best friend. If I'm sick of seeing cyclists with no lights on at night, then imagine how everyone else feels?

Winter cyclists in London in 2010 - it's been reassuring to see even more cyclists on the roads this year.
