The lovely people over at the Tweed Run have teamed up with those well-dressed folk at Rugby by Ralph Lauren, London to host a very special edition Winter Tweed Run this Saturday.

With just 250 places available tickets have been as rare as hen's teeth, but we've got a pair of tickets to give away right here at ibikelondon!
The ride sets off from Covent Garden on Saturday morning and will take in a sartorial tour of the capital's most famous sites, and will of course rest for the ubiquitous tea stop along the way. You're guaranteed a very friendly and welcoming crowd and indeed the atmosphere along the route is truly unique. As I observed on the 2010 ride "London felt like the most friendly city in the world; tourists gawked and took photos as we passed, people cheered and applauded, children watched wide-eyed as the spectacle rolled on; even London’s famous drivers were (largely) hospitable. Everyone taking part enthused what an incredible event it was; indeed even those I saw fixing punctures at the very start of the race did so with smiles on their faces."
Not sure what to wear? The Rugby London website has some superb sartorial style and deportment tips, and there's a chance to win an absolutely gorgeous very limited edition hand built Pashley Tweed Run bike. The videos on how the bike was built are a must see for any bike porn fan!
